Tackling Radicalism through Active Citizenship of Europe in Schools (trACES)

On Wednesday 29 November 2017, within the framework of the Jean Monnet Action project, EU@School, titled "trACES", the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted a third in-depth workshop on use of the Moodle tool for teachers and educators that thematically cover the contents of radicalization, social inclusion and school culture. The workshop was held by Ass. Prof. Dr. Marko Radovan from the Department of Pedagogy and andragogy of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana. The purpose of the workshop was to address the possibilities of teaching content through the Moodle environment, and in particular addressing the challenges associated with radicalization and undemocratic impulses within the school field. The workshop participants learned about the organization of the online classroom environment and the teaching tools in Moodle: Glossary, Task and Quiz. At the end of the workshop, the lecturer presented participants with some of the other, more demanding functions of the Quiz tool and informed them about their entry in the Moodle tool.
